ENTERAINMENT INDUSTRIES COUNCIL ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR
THE 12th ANNUAL PRISM AWARDS

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 12, 2008 - Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, ER, Lost, and the films Michael Clayton and Gone Baby Gone are among the productions receiving nods for the 12th Annual PRISM Awards. The PRISM Awards, which is produced by the Entertainment Industries Council, Inc. (EIC) in partnership with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and FX, honor actors, movies, music, media and television's top shows in 29 categories that accurately depict and bring attention to substance abuse and mental health issues. This year's ceremony, which is set for April 24, 2008 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, will also include a tribute to the 25th anniversary of the EIC and its service to the industry and to the public.

"The Entertainment Industries Council's PRISM Awards continues to grow and attract the attention of networks, production companies, studios, and music companies that recognize the power of the entertainment industry to voluntarily bring accurate information to consumers for the good of all," said EIC President and CEO Brian Dyak.

"Important and timely health issues such as substance abuse, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, and suicide prevention touches all of us. All of this year's PRISM nominees have done exceptional jobs at conveying real life through entertainment."

"We had a record-setting 440 submissions this year recognizing some important and powerful work," said Fox Networks Group President and CEO Tony Vinciquerra, who once again serves as chairman of the PRISM Awards Honorary Committee. "I'm proud to be part of the 25th anniversary of the Entertainment Industries Council, and based on the incredible quality of the PRISM nominees it's clear that EIC's role within our industry has paid off for the benefit of all."
